<p>Many people think that dieting is the fastest and best way to lose weight. Many other people think that exercising produces better and faster weight loss results. So who is right and what are the reasons for one being better than the other.</p>
<p>First, I&#8217;ll state the obvious. Each person is different and unique. Having said that, it&#8217;s obvious each person will get different results doing the same diet or the same exercise program. That&#8217;s just how life is.</p>
<p><strong>So which is better for weight loss&#8230; diet or exercise?</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s not even close. Diet is king when it comes to weight loss. They each have their place, but if you want or need to lose a lot of weight and lose it fast, focus on your diet.</p>
<p>Bodybuilders as a whole are probably the best experts when it comes to losing weight in short periods of time. A lot of times they are mostly dropping water weight and dehydrating themselves, but they also know quite a bit about gaining and losing weight.</p>
<p>If you were to ask any professional bodybuilder which they rely on more for weight loss&#8230; diet or exercise&#8230; every single one of them will say diet. I can guarantee you that.</p>

<p>There is only so much you can do with exercise and boosting your metabolism through exercise for weight loss. The truth is, you can increase your resting metabolism better through diet.</p>
<p><strong>How?</strong></p>
<p>Eating frequent, smaller meals&#8230; as well as eating a lot of low calorie foods that provide a lot of bulk (fiber). This increases your metabolism because you&#8217;re making your digestive system work more to digest these foods and burn calories.</p>
<p>So if you were wondering which is better for weight loss&#8230; diet or exercise&#8230; diet is. Just eat smaller, more frequent meals to improve your weight loss efforts. Even if you eat the same foods&#8230; breaking them up into smaller meals would help you with weight loss.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s true even if you eat the same exact foods each day&#8230; as well as the same amount of calories. So focus on your diet first if your goal is weight loss.</p>

Losing weight is about burning more calories than you consume. To include an exercise program into your weight loss plan, make sure you start easy and fun, and start slow. Don&#8217;t try to jump into an exercise program full speed; or you&#8217;ll end up giving up.</p>
<p>Now, the best exercises that help the dieter lose weight, are aerobic exercises. Exercises that get the heart rate up and more effective than strength or resistance exercises. Start easy, maybe starting with a walking regimen to get the body conditioned and prepared for a heavier dose of exercising. One thing to remember, losing weight is difficult and doing exercises may take quite a bit of effort to lose calories&#8230;not eating calories is a lot easier than trying to burn them off.</p>
<p>When planning out your program, start with cardiovascular exercises and vary them so you don&#8217;t get bored. Some of the best exercises for losing weight are; step aerobics. These can be done at a gym or at home. Start slow and build up your stamina. Another is the stationary bicycle; start with about five minutes and work your way up to twenty minutes three times a week. Swimming is a wonderful exercise for losing weight and has a lower negative impact on the body. Walking and running are great exercises to raise the heartbeat and get the blood pumping. Set yourself a few different routes to use so it doesn&#8217;t become a bore.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re a beginner and exercise is somewhat new to you, start slowly with maybe three or four days out of the week with the cardio exercises you want, doing only as much as you can handle. As you get more comfortable with exercising, increase your levels to between thirty to forty-five minutes of continuous exercise each session. As your stamina builds, work up to doing five or six days of exercising per week. One key of a successful exercise program is in varying what you do, and how hard you do it. The real secret to a successful exercise program is one that you will actually do so pick your exercises in a realistic manner so you will be willing to continue your work.</p>

<p>Before moving on to the exercises, you have to be realistic. If you have a lot of fat to lose off your legs, it will go faster if you go onto a good diet as well. This way you will be tackling the problem from two sides. On the other had, if you only have to lose a little, exercises will be enough.</p>
<p><strong>Now on to the top 4 tips:</strong></p>
<p><strong>1. I think the easiest is the mini-trampoline.</strong> If it is possible, invest in one of these as you will really get a lot of benefit from it. To start with, do 2 minute bursts of jumps. Repeat these jumps until you have done a total of 20 minutes for the day. This is surprisingly effective and because it drains the lymph nodes it also detoxes the body.</p>
<p><strong>2. Walking uphill.</strong> This is another easy exercise to answer your question of: &#8220;how can I lose my fat legs with exercise. Walk at a brisk pace, uphill as much as possible and try and keep it up for at least 30 minutes. If it is not possible, do as much as you can. We walk uphill to church every Sunday! <p><strong>4. Stretches.</strong> Doing stretches does not only prevent injury, it also tones your legs giving them a slimmer appearance even if you did not lose any weight. Never do stretches when your muscles are gold. Always warm them up first. Try and do stretches that targets all the different muscles in your legs. Never end an exercise session without doing stretches.</p>

They learned that not every diet is right for everyone, and that hormones play a major role in determining what diet is best for you. It was exciting to read the testimonies of the participants that finally found success, especially after trying so many different diets. One of these factors is a test that measures a very important hormone called leptin. Leptin tells your brain to burn fat. Simply put: you &#8220;will not lose weight&#8221; regardless of what you eat. This is due to the over-consumption of processed grains and sugar, as well as toxicity. The constant sugar elevation causes the body to release more and more insulin. Remember, insulin brings sugar into your cells for energy. This is an important function; however, because insulin is constantly elevated along with sugar (glucose), the cell&#8217;s receptors to insulin become burned out. In other words, the cell cannot hear what insulin is saying &#8211; aka &#8220;insulin resistance.&#8221; The same thing is happening with leptin. Leptin is produced by your fat cells to tell your brain that there is too much body fat and to burn it for energy. Just like with insulin, if this system is challenged enough it will eventually break down. The increase in leptin will eventually cause your brain not to hear the signal to burn fat. Then, the receptors in your brain burn out, aka &#8220;leptin resistance.&#8221; Once this hormone mechanism fails it will become nearly impossible to lose weight. Nonetheless, there is hope.
